Sue Saunders - Registered Manager
Sue is the Registered Manager at all the services across Engage Support. Sue is responsible for the operational day to day management of Engage Support, ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislation for the company is at a high standard and required policies and training are constantly updated for staff to carry out within their role.
Sue is qualified in Positive Behaviour Support and continues to undertake continuing professional development in Applied Behavioural Analysis.
This in-depth knowledge of the models of support that underpin Engage’s service provision allows Susan to evaluate their application and effectiveness in achieving positive outcomes for those we support.
Experience:
Sue has worked in community adult learning disability services, mental health and various sectors since 2001.
During this time, Susan has been involved in a broad range of service management, auditing and supervision, including a period as Deputy to the Registered Manager of supported living.
This involved leading and directing managers, area managers and support workers, leading on periodic service reviews, provision and analysis of staff training, evaluating outcomes for people supported, leading in human resources management, facilitating Service User inclusion, liaison with legal teams and advocates on Deprivations under the Mental Capacity Act, tendering for and setting up new services.
