Welcome to Knight’s House

Knight’s House opened in June 2019 and is a newly renovated building made up of four high-tech flats. Each has been specially tailored for high-functioning individuals who may carry a risk to themselves.

Smart Living Spaces

The flats are equipped with a range of technology designed to support and simplify daily life for the people we support. This includes electric blinds operated by remote, mood lighting that can be adjusted by brightness and colour, and options for heated skirting boards or air conditioning—depending on personal preference and temperature needs.

Promoting Independence & Sensory Comfort

This setup promotes independence and helps individuals adapt to their unique sensory needs, providing a space that feels safe, calming, and in their control.

An Ecologial Approach to Support

Knight’s House places strong emphasis on the environment in which people live. By taking an ecological approach—adapting the physical space to suit each person—we create better opportunities for skill development and reducing behaviours seen as challenging.
